NUEACTIVE is guided by transparency and environmental and social consciousness.

Designed and formulated in the Netherlands, our cold processed organic preparations work to maintain healthy hair and skin. The integrity of our compostable packaging and recyclable post-consumer plastic bottles set sustainable as standard, emphasising our holistic and honest approach.

 

SUBSCRIPTION/ ONE-TIME

Products on NUEACTIVE REPEAT are always discounted allowing you to purchase our product on a monthly subscription basis. NUEACTIVE ONCE allows you to purchase product at a one time payment. We’ll send you a mail before we ship your products. NUEACTIVE REPEAT can be paused or cancelled anytime. Your NUEACTIVE REPEAT and NUACTIVE ONCE order is delivered to your doorstep free of charge. So, the shipping costs are on us.

 

YOUR ORDER

You can reach us by email at info@nueactive.com or write to us at Customer Care, NUEACTIVE B.V., Uiterweg 153D, 1431 AD Aalsmeer, the Netherlands. If you are based in the Netherlands, you have the right to cancel this order without giving us a reason, provided that you do so within 14 days beginning on the day after you receive your last item. If you like, you can send us an email or write to us at the address given above. The subscription can be cancelled by logging into your account. You then just have to get the products back to us within 14 days of letting us know, and we’ll give you a full refund (so long as the items aren’t opened and/or damaged as a result of unnecessary handling by you). In case of subscription your cancellation needs to be received by us at least five (5) days before the next bill date to prevent being charged for another 4 weeks as applicable. You will have to bear the cost of returning the goods to us if you cancel your order in this way, and we’d recommend that you send them back to us via a secure and trackable method.

 

SHIPPING & RETURNS

* We send the goods that you have ordered through POST NL. The place of delivery is deemed to be the shipping/delivery address that you provide in your order. The Buyer (i.e. the person to whom the consignment is sent) will be the declarant and importer into the country for which the goods are destined.

* You choose the product you want and a convenient location and we deliver through the letterbox to you each month. Simplicity of service providing peace of mind.

* Our product is designed for ease of delivery and to fit through a standard Dutch letterbox (38 x 26 x 3 cm), this means that even if you’re not home, our product will guaranteed delivered to your door with no signature required.

 

We aim to process your order within 24 hours and deliver items in stock within 3-5 working days to most Dutch mainland addresses. If you are shipping to a building without a concierge or safe place to leave a parcel, we strongly recommend adding a signature request to your shipment. In order to do so, please contact info@nueactive.com once your order has been placed.

 

If the goods are lost or damaged in transit, please let us know promptly, so that we can make a claim against the carrier. We will offer you the choice of a replacement or a full refund. Please see Returns Policy for further details. The consignee (i.s. the person to whom the consignment is sent) will be the declarant and importer into the country for which the consignment is destined. The consignee will be responsible for both customs clearance and payment of customs duties and local taxes where required.

 

In order to receive products from NUEACTIVE, the mailbox of the receiver should be at minimum the following dimensions: 27 cm by 1.6 cm. Please see our Shipping + returns section for further information.

 

COLD PROCESSED

Cosmetic products that are produced the cold process method have a number of important advantages. Many hair and skin care products are formulated using natural raw materials. Their cleansing properties rely upon the fatty acids that are produced as natural oils and fats breakdown. With a warm or hot process, the raw materials are heated, usually to speed up saponification, a process which compromises the integrity of the finished product. With the cold processed method, these delicate and valuable fatty acids remain intact within the recipe. In addition to this, many flower and plant essences are very sensitive to heat and light, and may be damaged when exposed them during the production process. This results in the active and beneficial elements of the natural ingredient being destroyed. The precise properties for which the ingredient was chosen are lost. Care products made according to the cold process method retain these active beneficial elements and powerful natural effects, and often have a slightly creamier and softer character.

 

HOW WE SOURCE OUR INGREDIENTS?

We begin by rigorously vetting our suppliers to ensure that their ethics and priorities align with our own. We then work closely with our partners to source the highest quality sustainable ingredients from around the world.

 

We are proud to say that we know exactly where each of our ingredients comes from, when and how it was harvested, and that we can attest for their unadulterated purity through our systems of composition testing, documentation and certification

 

PACKAGING

We strive to use biodegradable, recyclable and reusable packaging with the highest content of post-consumer waste whenever possible. Our bottles are manufactured locally in a facility that works with Post Consumer Recyled Plastics. Our shipping bags are made from 100% compostable material. Shipping labels, parcel tape, note cards and stickers are all made from 100% post-consumer waste.

 

These materials are all produced locally and are entirely recyclable and/or compostable.
